I hear you.

Many people feel stuck as they struggle with anxiety, grief, or depression, even after trying therapy. At Oak Harbor Counseling Services, I give clients proven tools that help them heal, so they enjoy life again.

I understand what it feels like to face overwhelming challenges. When I was in my twenties, I battled depression for a couple of years. And as a parent, I have experienced the death of a son. I know what it’s like to feel lost. But I also walked the journey required to heal from those experiences.

With guidance and the right tools, I was able to overcome and heal from those challenges. I can help you get there, too.

Let's talk.

At Oak Harbor Counseling Services, I know you want to enjoy a rich and meaningful life. The problem is you have encountered an overwhelming storm (of anxiety, grief & loss, or depression) which makes you feel lost and alone. I believe that it is just plain wrong for anyone to feel like there is no hope for them to heal and enjoy life again. I feel your pain and understand your frustration. That’s why I became a licensed professional counselor in 2014. I have helped numerous clients get through their storm, and I can help you, too.

Here’s how it works: Step one, schedule your first appointment where you will feel heard and get to learn new tools that work. Step two, together we will create a personalized plan for your progress and reserve a future session that fits your schedule. Step three, you will get results as you practice your new skills.

Make your first appointment today, so you can stop feeling lost and alone and get back to enjoying the rich and meaningful life you deserve.

Professional Background

I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in the state of Ohio, and I work with adults. I focus on individual counseling. I specialize in working with people who are struggling with anxiety, loss & grief, or depression. I also help people with stress management, career counseling, men’s issues, relationship issues, phase of life problems, spiritual & religious problems, and substance use problems. I serve the Greater Columbus area (including Worthington, Westerville, Dublin, Powell, Gahanna, and Lewis Center).

I graduated with a PharmD from Ohio Northern University in 2004, and a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Ashland Theological Seminary in 2014. As a former pharmacist and pastor, I have experience in the medical, pastoral, and business fields. This enables me to relate to and serve a diverse range of people.

I love to equip people with tools to do what matters most to them using ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), and help people recover from past losses as a certified Grief Recovery Method Specialist®. I believe that there is hope for each of us, even in the darkest of our days, to endure and become the type of person we desire to be. My goal as a counselor is to empower my clients to heal and thrive again.
